Privacy Policy
Dog Grooming Studio is a brand of Houndland, s. r. o. ("we", "us"). We sell one digital handbook, so we collect very little about you, and we handle it under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. What we collect and why
- Your order. Stripe collects your name, email, billing country and card details at checkout. We only ever see your name, email and the order confirmation, never your card number.
- Your delivery. We email your receipt and download link, and keep a short record on our server (email, product, time sent) so we can re-send your files if you lose them.
- Your emails. Whatever you choose to tell us when you write to support.
- Technical logs. Our host records standard data such as IP address and browser type to keep the site secure.
We use this to deliver what you bought, answer your questions and keep our tax records straight. The legal bases are performance of our contract with you, our legal obligations, and our legitimate interest in a secure website. We never sell your data and we send no marketing emails unless you sign up for them.
2. Who else handles it
Stripe (payments and receipts), Hostinger (hosting and the mailbox your download comes from), Google Fonts (sees your IP address while the page loads its typefaces) and Meta (only if you accept cookies, see below). Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, the transfer is covered by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
3. Cookies
We set no cookies of our own. On your first visit a banner asks whether you agree to analytics cookies, and your answer is stored in your browser under "dgs_cookie_consent", along with the end date of the current offer under "dgs_launch_deadline". If you accept, we may load the Meta Pixel, which shows us in aggregate how visitors find the site. If you decline, no analytics or marketing script loads at all. You can change your answer whenever you like through the Cookie settings link in the footer. Stripe sets its own strictly necessary cookies when you pay, on Stripe's checkout page rather than on this site.
4. How long we keep it
Invoices for 10 years, as tax law requires. Delivery records for up to 24 months, so we can help you re-download. Support emails until your request is resolved. Technical logs only briefly.
5. Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or send it to you in a portable format. You can also complain to your data protection authority. Email support@doggrooming.studio and we will answer within 30 days. Our products are meant for adults and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.
6. Contact
The data controller is Houndland, s. r. o. (trading as Dog Grooming Studio), Kniežaťa Pribinu 193/22, 911 01 Trenčín, Slovak Republic.
